FOX Sports Caps Unprecedented 25th MLB Season as World Series Game 6 Delivers 13.2 Million Viewers
Fall Classic Continues to Flex Primetime Dominance
Series Sets All-Time Highs Across FOX Sports Digital and Social Platforms
LOS ANGELES – FOX Sports averaged 13,215,000 viewers across FOX, FOX Deportes and FOX Sports streaming platforms for Game 6 of the 116th World Series at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
Last night’s decisive showdown delivered an average audience of 12,627,000 viewers on FOX and peaked at 14,351,000. The Dodgers’ first World Series clinch since 1988 is the most-watched telecast of the day on any network and FOX’s best performance for a Tuesday night telecast since Game 6 of the 2019 World Series.
The 6-game series, which dominated prime time television, averaged 9,785,000 viewers on the FOX broadcast network according to Nielsen Media Research.
LOCAL MARKETS
The telecast drew a 27.5/48 rating in Los Angeles, the best for any Dodgers game in the market since Game 7 of the 2017 World Series (36.7/56) and an 18.2/33 in Tampa, the best for any Rays game in the market since Game 5 of the 2008 World Series (29.8/42).
Throughout the 2020 World Series, Los Angeles averaged a 21.2/40 and Tampa a 15.2/29.

FOX Sports’ digital performance was highlighted by 60 million views across @MLBonFOX Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube accounts, far surpassing the seven-game total from the 2019 World Series by +103%. Additional social highlights:
• World Series Watch Party streams drew 7.5 million views across FOX Sports digital and social platforms, up +150% from last year.
• The final play of Game 4 was the most-viewed 2020 World Series game highlight, amassing 4.7 million views across platforms. Alex Rodriguez’s reaction to the play was the most-viewed studio highlight from the 2020 World Series with 1.2 million views.

With an average of 519,000 total viewers, last night’s Game 6 was the second most-watched World Series Game 6 in Spanish-language television history. The game, which was the highest-viewed Spanish sports program of the day, beat 2019’s Game 6 between the Houston Astros and the Washington Nationals by +38%. The first six games of the 2020 World Series beat last year’s first six games by +2%.
