Meyer shocks the BIG NOON KICKOFF crew when he says he wants to see an expanded College Football Playoff:
“I have had some really deep conversations with some of my colleagues, and the game is changing. I can’t believe I’m saying it, because I’m a traditionalist; I love the bowl games. I love the bowl experiences.
“There are two things important to elite players – NFL, College Football Playoff. If that doesn’t happen, they’re not going to play in bowl games. I’m not saying all of them, but I know coaches are dealing with that on a day-to-day basis.
“I say expand the playoff. I can’t believe that came out of my mouth — expand the playoff. I know you guys will say more teams are going to be involved; I say more players are going to be involved. Or they’re going to get out, so you’re going to see these phenomenal athletes not be able to play. They don’t have any interest – what does the Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Fiesta Bowl mean to some of these players? It’s College Football Playoff and NFL – that’s all that matters.”

Bush lays out his bracket for an eight-team playoff:
“At the end of the day, we’re tired of the three, same four, teams at the end of the year – Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State. I’m a fan of greatness, but it’s time for more.”

Urban’s Playbook examines the important relationship between a quarterback and wide receiver:
“There’s very a unique relationship between the quarterbacks and receivers. The lack of interceptions isn’t by accident. Normally the viewer thinks the offensive line, their job is to do what – protect the quarterback. At Ohio State, yes, that’s true, but the receivers are also taught to protect the quarterback at all costs.”
