CLUB SHAY SHAY, the FOX Sports original podcast hosted by Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe, dropped its Season 2 premiere on Monday, Aug. 9, featuring former NBA champion, All-Star and Defensive Player of the Year Metta World Peace.

In this week’s episode, Metta talks with Sharpe about how many points Michael Jordan would average in today’s NBA; his apology to Ben Wallace before the Malice at the Palace; almost having a career in professional boxing; how therapy and taking care of his mental health helped his career, and more.

Season 2 of CLUB SHAY SHAY features in-person interviews with some of the biggest names in sports, entertainment and culture. Most of this season’s conversations take place in the brand-new CLUB SHAY SHAY lounge in FOX Sports’ Los Angeles studios, while select episodes, including next week’s conversation with Dominic Ciambrone, better known as The Shoe Surgeon, are filmed on location.
In its first season, CLUB SHAY SHAY was a Shorty Awards finalist in the Best Podcast category and was named one of Spotify’s best sports podcasts of 2020. It is currently among the largest sports podcasts on YouTube with 435,000 subscribers. The Season 2 preview featuring NBA free agent DeMar DeRozan set records as the podcast’s most-viewed episode in its first seven days and the podcast’s most downloaded episode in its first full day and week, garnering nearly 2.8 million total video views across platforms.
