FOX Sports and Telemundo Deportes Present FIFA World Cup 2026™ Host Cities Announcement Special Live on June 16
NEW YORK – FOX Sports and Telemundo Deportes, the official FIFA World Cup™ English-and-Spanish language broadcast rights-holders through 2026, announce plans to present live coverage of FIFA’s anticipated unveiling of the host cities for the 2026 tournament taking place across the United States of America, Canada and Mexico.
The one-hour joint production will originate from the FOX Studios in New York City on Thursday, June 16, starting at 5:00 PM ET. Fans across America can watch the announcement live on FS1 and Universo.
FOX Sports’ Rob Stone and Jenny Taft along with Telemundo Deportes’ Andres Cantor and Ana Jurka will serve as the hosts for the event. Stone and Jurka will pair up to cover the main stage, while Cantor and Taft anchor the action from the Plaza.
FOX Sports’ English-language coverage will feature former United States Men’s National Team legends (USMNT) and current FOX Sports analysts Alexi Lalas and Stu Holden. Telemundo’s Spanish-language coverage on Universo will be anchored by Telemundo Deportes’ Mexican National Team top all-time scorer Carlos Hermosillo and Miguel Gurwitz.
FIFA and CONCACAF dignitaries will also be in attendance, in addition to Christian Pulisic (USA), Hirving “Chucky” Lozano (Mexico) and Jonathan Osorio (Canada) serving as player representatives for each host country. The program will conclude with a live musical performance by Becky G.
