LOS ANGELES – FOX Sports, America’s English-language home for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™, today announces the massive international friendly between the U.S. Women’s National Team (USWNT) and England on Friday, Oct. 7 will air on FOX. The significant announcement was made by David Neal, Executive Producer of FIFA World Cup™ on FOX and Vice President of Production for FOX Sports.

The USWNT’s meeting with England on Friday, Oct. 7 comes nearly two weeks before the final draw for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ on Saturday, Oct. 22, and 49 days before Friday, Nov. 25, when the U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) plays England in the group stage of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™.
The highly anticipated match on FOX features FIFA’s top-ranked women’s team and the reigning back-to-back FIFA Women’s World Cup™ champions in the USWNT, and the newly crowned European champions in England, who rose to fourth overall in the latest FIFA rankings. The match, which will be held at the iconic Wembley Stadium in London, sold out of tickets faster than any women’s soccer match in history outside of a major international tournament.
