LOS ANGELES – The scene is set for FOX Sports’ 25th World Series. Joe Davis makes his Fall Classic debut alongside Emmy Award winner and first-ballot Hall of Famer John Smoltz on Friday, Oct. 28, at 8:00 PM ET when the Philadelphia Phillies take on the Houston Astros live from Houston’s Minute Maid Park on FOX. The World Series presented by Capital One also is available on FOX Deportes and the FOX Sports app.

Davis and Smoltz team with Emmy Award winning reporters Ken Rosenthal and Tom Verducci, with FOX Sports Lead Producer Pete Macheska working his 19th World Series and Lead Director Matt Gangl his sixth.
Friday’s FOX MLB Pregame show, live from Minute Maid Park, is slated for 7:00 PM ET, with host Kevin Burkhardt anchoring the Emmy Award-winning studio desk, which includes Hall of Famers Frank Thomas and David Ortiz alongside World Series champion Alex Rodriguez.
FOX Sports VP Production Bardia Shah-Rais is the Coordinating Producer for FOX MLB World Series studio shows, with Jonathan Kaplan producing and David Faller directing.
Rosenthal and Verducci also are set to contribute.
