FOX Sports Announces Robust 2022-23 College Hoops Schedule
FOX Sports Family of Networks to Televise Nearly 300 Matchups Throughout Season
New FOX PRIMETIME HOOPS Package Tips Off Saturday, Dec. 10
LOS ANGELES – Today, FOX Sports celebrates the start of its 2022-23 college basketball schedule, featuring nearly 300 games across the FOX Sports family of networks and digital platforms. The season is highlighted by the debut of FOX PRIMETIME HOOPS, a special package of highly anticipated Saturday night matchups featured on the FOX broadcast network.
Season Tip Off: Exclusive Whip-Around Coverage
FOX Sports’ season tips off tonight, Monday, Nov. 7, with exclusive whip-around coverage showing live look-ins of eight BIG EAST contests with limited commercials during the BIG EAST OPENING NIGHT TIP-OFF at 6:30 PM ET on FS1. Veteran analysts Bill Raftery, Jim Jackson and Casey Jacobsen are in-studio in Los Angeles alongside host Mike Hill to celebrate the start of college hoops on FOX. Robust Men’s and Women’s Conference Lineup
This season, FOX Sports televises top men’s games from the BIG EAST, Big Ten, Pac-12 and Mountain West conferences, as well as women’s games from the BIG EAST, Big Ten and Mountain West. The network also showcases the full BIG EAST men’s and women’s tournaments, including the championship matchups.
Key Game Highlights
Highlights from the 2022-23 schedule include a new slate of FOX PRIMETIME HOOPS matchups, beginning Saturday, Dec. 10 at 7:30 PM ET with preseason No. 17 Arizona vs. No. 13 Indiana from The Clash presented by The Halal Guys. FOX PRIMETIME HOOPS also features matchups between No. 16 Villanova at No. 9 Creighton, Colorado at No. 8 UCLA, Ohio State at No. 13 Indiana, Michigan State at No. 22 Michigan, Iowa at Ohio State, Indiana at Purdue and UConn at Villanova.
FOX Sports’ schedule also features seven Gavitt Tipoff Games, the early-season conference challenge between the BIG EAST and Big Ten, including Indiana at Xavier and Villanova at Michigan State. As part of FOX Sports’ massive Thanksgiving week programming slate, FS1 is home to the Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off, featuring Georgia Tech, Utah, Mississippi State and Marquette.
In December, FOX also highlights the Never Forget Tribute Classic between Villanova and Boston College, as well as a Christmas Day matchup when Creighton goes up against DePaul in a special holiday classic on FOX.
FOX Sports’ women’s schedule features six matchups on FOX, a record high for the network. The slate is highlighted by a national championship rematch between preseason No. 1 South Carolina and No. 6 UConn, as well as preseason No. 4 Iowa at No. 25 Michigan, No. 21 Creighton at DePaul and No. 22 Nebraska at Iowa on FOX. FS1 also features a robust package of women’s hoops matchups, including No. 3 Texas at UConn, No. 7 Louisville at DePaul and No. 10 NC State at UConn.
Elite Game and Studio Broadcaster Roster
This season’s lineup of game broadcasters, studio personalities and other contributors include some of the best voices in the business. Acclaimed broadcaster Gus Johnson, the most exciting voice in sports, returns as FOX Sports’ lead play-by-play announcer, with former All-American and NBA veteran Jackson and Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Raftery serving as lead game analysts.
Longtime FOX broadcaster Donny Marshall also contributes to game and studio analysis with newcomers LaVall Jordan and Devin Harris.
FOX Sports’ play-by-play roster also includes Adam Amin, Jason Benetti, Tim Brando, Lisa Byington, Joe Davis, Noah Eagle, John Fanta, Alex Faust, Brandon Gaudin, Aaron Goldsmith and Kevin Kugler.
Kimberly Adams, Nick Bahe, Stephen Bardo, Casey Jacobsen, Sarah Kustok, Jim Spanarkel, Stephanie White and Christy Winters-Scott contribute to FOX Sports’ college hoops coverage as game analysts.
In studio, Rob Stone and Hill share hosting duties, joined by Jackson, Jacobsen, Marshall, Harris and Jordan as analysts throughout the season. Mike DeCourcy, member of the U.S. Basketball Writers Hall of Fame, also returns this season as FOX Sports’ bracket expert. Additional play-by-play broadcasters and analysts will contribute to game and studio coverage throughout the season.

Former Ohio State walk-on Mark Titus provides multimedia coverage across FOX Sports digital platforms, including his popular college hoops podcast, “Titus and Tate,” with co-host Tate Frazier, available on the FOX Sports App, FOXSports.com and @CBBonFOX platforms. Renowned college basketball reporter Andy Katz as well as Fanta also contribute weekly columns, videos, and tier rankings on FOX Sports digital platforms throughout the season.
