Los Angeles – Longtime television producer and broadcaster Chris “The Bear” Fallica joins FOX Sports, announced today by Brad Zager, Executive Producer, EVP/Head of Production & Operations, FOX Sports. The decorated television veteran will serve in a variety of roles across FOX Sports’ properties as an on-air personality, sports wagering expert and writer for FOXSports.com.
“Bear’s passion and enthusiasm reflect everything that fans love about sports,” said Zager. “We cannot wait to showcase his wealth of sports knowledge across FOX Sports’ properties.”
Fallica will appear on FOX’s BIG NOON KICKOFF, offering his perspective on the day’s biggest college football matchups. He will also contribute to the network’s horse racing coverage, including FOX Sports’ inaugural presentation of the Belmont Stakes in 2023, as well as college basketball, soccer and more.
“I’m thrilled to be a part of the FOX Sports team and to bring my unique spin to BIG NOON KICKOFF,” said Fallica. “While college football is my passion, I am ecstatic to contribute to FOX Sports’ soccer and horse racing coverage – two sports that have encompassed some of the most rewarding experiences of my career and are near and dear to my heart.”
Prior to joining FOX Sports, Fallica spent nearly three decades at ESPN, most notably as a research producer and on-air personality for “College GameDay.” He also co-hosted the “Stanford Steve and The Bear” podcast, a popular sports wagering show, and wrote about sports wagering for ESPN.com.
