Fox Sports Announces Broadcaster Match Assignments For The 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup Quarterfinals On FS1

LOS ANGELES – FOX Sports, America’s English-language home for the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup, today announces broadcaster match assignments for the Quarterfinals. The defending Gold Cup champion United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) headline an eight-team field competing this weekend across consecutive match days on FS1.

On Sunday, July 9, the USMNT face Canada in prime time with live coverage commencing at 7:00 PM ET. FOX Sports’ lead match commentary team in play-by-play announcer John Strong and match analyst Stu Holden will call the action from TQL Stadium in Cincinnati with Jenny Taft reporting from the sidelines. Strong, Holden and Taft will also cover the opening match of the day between Guatemala and Jamaica starting at 5:00 PM ET.

The Gold Cup Quarterfinals on Saturday, July 8, open with the esteemed pairing of play-by-play announcer Keith Costigan and match analyst Warren Barton on the call for Panama vs. Qatar at 7:00 PM ET, followed by play-by-play announcer JP Dellacamera, match analyst Cobi Jones and sideline reporter Rodolfo Landeros on Mexico vs. Costa Rica. Former referees Dr. Joe Machnik and Mark Clattenburg serve as FOX Sports rules analysts throughout the Gold Cup.

Gold Cup studio coverage throughout the weekend will be anchored by host Rob Stone. Former USMNT icons Landon Donovan, Alexi Lalas and Maurice Edu serve as decorated studio analysts across the four-match slate. FOX Sports Wagering Expert Chris “The Bear” Fallica also joins the broadcast team in-studio on Saturday and Sunday.
