FOX Sports Announces Broadcaster Match Assignments for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™ Round of 16

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – The FIFA Women’s World Cup Australia & New Zealand 2023™ roars into the Round of 16 with the thrilling knockout stage set to begin on Saturday, Aug. 5. FOX Sports, America’s English-language home for the tournament, today presents broadcaster match assignments as perennial contenders from around the world get set to compete for a coveted spot in the Quarterfinals.

David Neal, Executive Producer of FIFA World Cup™ on FOX and Vice President of Production for FOX Sports, made today’s announcement assigning the network’s lineup of commentators for the Round of 16.

Play-by-play announcer JP Dellacamera and United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) FIFA Women’s World Cup™ veteran Aly Wagner return to call the USWNT’s Sunday, Aug. 6, showdown vs. Sweden with Jenny Taft reporting from the sidelines. Live coverage begins at 4:00 AM ET on FOX with FIFA WOMEN’S WORLD CUP TONIGHT leading right up to kick off at 5:00 AM ET.

Play-by-play announcer John Strong and match analyst Kyndra de St. Aubin, and play-by-play announcer Jacqui Oatley and USWNT FIFA Women’s World Cup™ veteran Lori Lindsey, round out FOX Sports’ announce teams calling matches for the Round of 16 from the Land Down Under. On Saturday, Aug. 5, Strong and de St. Aubin call the opening match of the Round of 16 between Switzerland and Spain, while Oatley and Lindsey anchor the match call for Japan vs. Norway.
