Mike Joy Embarks on His 25th Season in the FOX NASCAR Booth Alongside Analysts Clint Bowyer and Kevin Harvick Returning in the Season-Opening Race on FOX
FOX Deportes Ushers in Its 14th NASCAR Season
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – FOX Sports ushers in its milestone 25th consecutive season of NASCAR coverage with The Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 2 (6:00 PM ET, FOX), in the NASCAR Cup Series’ first trip back to the revered racetrack in 54 years.
Mike Joy, FOX NASCAR’s original and only play-by-play announcer since 2001, embarks on his 25th season with the network alongside analysts Clint Bowyer, in his fifth season in the FOX broadcast booth, and former champion Kevin Harvick, entering his second year. Rounding out FOX NASCAR’s broadcast crew are analyst Larry McReynolds, also in his 25th season with the network, and acclaimed pit reporters Jamie Little and Regan Smith.
Prerace coverage begins at 7:30 PM ET on FOX with NASCAR RACEDAY, hosted by Chris Myers, an original member of the FOX NASCAR team since 2001, with Jamie McMurray, Bowyer, Harvick, Little and Smith. At 6:00 PM ET, FOX also airs live coverage of the last-chance qualifying heat races that set The Clash field on the quarter-mile short track built in 1937. Weekend coverage begins Saturday, Feb. 1 (6:00 PM ET, FS1), with qualifying.

FOX Deportes kicks off its 14th NASCAR season with live coverage of The Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium. The Spanish-language broadcast is led by renowned play-by-play announcer Tony Rivera, who is joined by Emmy Award-winning analyst Jessi Losada. Race coverage begins Sunday, Feb. 2 (8:00 PM ET, FOX Deportes).
THE MADHOUSE: NASCAR’S RETURN TO BOWMAN GRAY STADIUM
To mark the beginning of the 2025 NASCAR season and to commemorate the return to Bowman Gray, FS1 debuts THE MADHOUSE: NASCAR’S RETURN TO BOWMAN GRAY STADIUM on Monday, Jan. 27 (7:00 PM ET). The one-hour original documentary, produced by FOX Sports Films and NASCAR Studios, explores the rich history of the Winston-Salem, N.C., venue while focusing on preparations for the race. Featuring exclusive interviews with Ben Kennedy, Jim France, Leonard Wood, Chocolate Myers and Bowman Gray stalwarts Burt Myers, Jason Myers and Tim Brown, the special tells a story that intersects two unique worlds: the biggest motorsports series in North America, and the grassroots charm of small-town America.
KEVIN HARVICK’S HAPPY HOUR PODCAST
In advance of The Clash, original FOX Sports podcast KEVIN HARVICK’S HAPPY HOUR Presented by NASCAR on FOX returns on Tuesday, Jan. 28, for its second season featuring Harvick and co-hosts Kaitlyn Vincie, a veteran FOX NASCAR broadcaster, and Dylan “Mamba” Smith, NASCAR’s unofficial “Chief Hype Officer.” New episodes drop each Tuesday and Thursday throughout the season.
KEVIN HARVICK’S HAPPY HOUR delivers the racing legend’s expert opinion and fresh perspective on the top NASCAR storylines, while also welcoming some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment to the racing world. New episodes, originating from the FOX Sports studios in Charlotte, post twice weekly and feature weekend recaps, upcoming race previews, guest interviews, stories and analysis of the week’s racing news, in addition to Harvick’s “Victory Lap” interview with each week’s race winner.
