Extends contract with Cincinnati Barreal has signed a one-year contract extension with FC Cincinnati containing options to further extend for an additional two seasons, the club announced Wednesday.

Impact Barreal has tallied eight goals and eight assists across 67 MLS appearances (53 starts) over the last two seasons with Cincinnati, and the 22-year-old has now signed on with the club for another campaign at least. He should remain the primary option at left-back/left wing-back heading into 2023.
