Youssouf Sabaly - Did not train with team Sabaly was not able to participate in training with an undisclosed injury and will not be an option for Sunday's trip to Rayo Vallecano, confirmed manager Manuel Pellegrino.

Impact Sabaly had just returned from a long term knee injury and was able to start the last three matches in the back, totaling eight clearances, five crosses (zero accurate) and four tackles. With Aitor Ruibal (ankle) back, he is set to start at right back against Rayo Vallecano.

Hector Bellerin - Recovering well Bellerin is feeling "much better" after missing the last match with a thigh injury, he said per Manu Colchon of 4231 FC.

Impact Bellerin will look to return to training after missing the weekend clash with Villarreal. Youssouf Sabaly had started in his place at right back and could see another start if Bellerin does not recovered in time.

Impact The Brazilian striker was at the right place and at the right time to give Betis a 2-1 lead in the dying stages of the first half, but the team was unable to hold on to their lead and ended up losing. Willian Jose continues to have an excellent season, and even though Chimy Avila (suspension) and Cedric Bakambu (thigh) could rival him for playing time, the former Real Sociedad striker won't leave the starting lineup if he continues to score at this rate. He's up to eight goals and three assists across 24 league appearances in 2023-24.

Impact Fornals set up Betis' second goal of the match deep into the first half, and his inch-perfect cross from the right wing allowed Willian Jose to drill a close-range shot past Filip Jorgensen. Fornals didn't waste time in securing a starting role with Betis following his January move from West Ham United, and he's already up to one goal and one assist across six league appearances (five starts) with Betis.
