Marvin Schwabe - Blown away in routSchwabe registered seven saves and allowed six goals in Saturday's 6-0 loss versus RB Leipzig.
ImpactSchwabe faced 13 shots and stopped seven of them, conceding six in a heavy loss. It wasn't the performance Schwabe will want to hang his hat on but it's also impossible to blame Schwabe here, as he was let down by the team in front of him repeatedly. Easier matches lie ahead against Augsburg and Bochum for Schwabe to try and bounce back.

Mathias Olesen - Sent off lateMathias Olesen picked up two yellow cards and was sent off in the 80th minute of Saturday's 6-0 loss to RB Leipzig. He recorded no stats before his removal.
ImpactOlesen came off the bench and was shown a straight red card after just 10 minutes. For a player on the outside of the starting XI looking in this performance was about as awful as could possibly be. Olesen failed to touch the ball, his stat line finishes at two fouls committed, two yellow cards, and a red card. With this sort of showing Olesen will very likely end up buries on the depth chart moving forward.

Janis Blaswich - Easy winBlaswich made one save and allowed zero goals in Saturday's 6-0 victory versus 1. FC Koln.
ImpactBlaswich faced just one shot and stopped it to come away with the clean sheet with ease. The goalkeeper is up to five clean sheets in nine Bundesliga matches and is keeping Peter Gulacsi out of the starting XI on merit at this point. Blaswich was the backup but has truly earned a major role during almost 12 months as the first choice in net.

Benjamin Henrichs - Assists in winHenrichs assisted once to go with three shots (one on goal), four crosses (three accurate) and five chances created in Saturday's 6-0 victory versus 1. FC Koln.
ImpactHenrichs got on the scoresheet for the second time in three matches with yet another assist. The right-back has been a consistent piece of the starting XI and is the first choice on the right flank in all formations. It's a nice role for Henrichs, who seems to be growing into his more offensive role, having already tied his season-high for assists.
OCTOBER 28, 2023ROTOWIRE
Xavi Simons - Pair of assistsSimons assisted twice to go with four shots (one on goal), two crosses (zero accurate) and two corners in Saturday's 6-0 win versus 1. FC Koln.
ImpactSimons was held off the scoresheet for six matches in a row after a hot start. Now he has added four goal contributions in the last two matches. Simons hasn't been the safest floor option, lacking some consistency, but he has been brilliant going forward and is up to nine goal contributions in nine Bundesliga matches. Simons has also added a pair of goal contributions in the Champions League.

Benjamin Sesko - Scores off benchSesko scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 6-0 win versus 1. FC Koln.
ImpactSesko's frustrating role off the bench continues, though he now has scored three times in just 212 minutes on the pitch. On a rate basis that's a stellar pace, but the brilliant form of Lois Openda means Sesko largely has remained on the bench. Still matches in multiple competitions should give Sesko plenty of time to grow into more minutes throughout 2023/24.
OCTOBER 28, 2023ROTOWIRE
Christoph Baumgartner - Nets off benchBaumgartner scored one goal to go with two shots (one on goal) in Saturday's 6-0 victory over 1. FC Koln.
ImpactBaumgartner's role hasn't changed really he remains a consistent piece off the bench in the closing stages of each match and he's done well with that role. Across 183 minutes in the Bundesliga Baumgartner has scored and assisted once each putting his rate stats at an elite level. Still it seems unlikely he will be handed a starting role barring injuries elsewhere.
