Misses match with hamstring injury Paredes missed Sunday's loss against Dallas with a hamstring injury suffered the prior week and is in doubt for the May 27 contest against Orlando.

Impact Paredes suffered the injury May 13 and unsurprisingly, Portland hasn't released much information on it. If it's only a tweak, he could be back for Sunday's game against Orlando and if it's a month-long injury, he'll miss a couple more matches. Youngster David Ayala started in his place in the midfield in the loss to Dallas.

Impact Paredes has eight goals and seven assists in 94 MLS appearances as he begins his fifth season in Portland, and the 23-year-old has signed on through 2025 at least. He made 16 starts in midfield as the Timbers went all the way to the MLS Cup Final in 2021.
