It was a fitting finish for Ings, who's looked incredibly comfortable on the south coast and finished the campaign with 22 goals and two assists from 38 appearances (32 starts). His efforts will certainly earn Ings some admirers from bigger clubs, but Ings had a difficult spell with Liverpool over three seasons filled with injuries and may be best fitted to his current club.
