Close to announcing retirement Garrido is close to retiring due to a series of issues with his knee, club president Manuel Vizcaino told El Desmarque on Tuesday.
Out four months Garrido is expected to miss the next four months after undergoing surgery for chronic tendinosis on his knee.
Impact Garrido could easily be out until 2022 after a recurring injury became worse ahead of the new season. He only made seven starts from 23 appearances in the most recent campaign and may not have started too frequently, even as club captain.
