Out against Houston Gregus (ankle) will miss Saturday's clash against the Dynamo according to Zone Coverage reporter Jacob Schneider.

Impact Gregus missed last weekend's draw against Sporting KC with an ankle injury, and he is set to miss Saturday's match now as well. Minnesota is hopeful that he can return by the Seattle game on Sept. 11.

Impact Gregus looks to be an option for Saturday's match and could even make an immediate return to the starting XI. While he's done some traveling, he played just one minute for Slovakia in the Euros and should be rested enough to get back in the XI. That said, he'll have to fight his way back into the squad following the new roster additions.

Impact Gregus is a fairly productive player at club level after recording 14 assists over the past two seasons, but he's spent a little more time on the bench for his country. That could change if more rotation is used to freshen up the lineup, but for now Gregus needs to prove his place.

Impact Gregus had one of his better performances in the draw Saturday. The midfielder has been off and on so far to start the season and his club has suffered in return. Gregus is one of the main pieces for Minnesota and a majority of the success runs through him. He surely needs to step up his game a few notches before he can be relied on game in and game out. Nevertheless, he is the set-piece taker and he should only get better moving forward.

Impact Despite primarily in a creative role Gregus has been a bit rusty to start the season and his rough beginning continues. With three goals and 14 assists over his past two seasons though the midfielder should get it going sooner or later.
