Julian Gressel - Acquired in cash dealGressel was brought in by Columbus from Vancouver on Friday in exchange for $500,000 in General Allocation Money.
ImpactGressel made 16 starts in 18 appearances for the Whitecaps this season in which he generated three goals on 32 shots (10 on target), five assists, 105 crosses (28 accurate) and 50 corners. The leading corner taker for Vancouver, Gressel should be in the mix to steal some of the responsibilities from Lucas Zelarayan.
