Delivers three crosses in Lazio game Pellegrini drew four fouls, won six duels, had two successful take-ons and sent in three crosses (three accurate) in Saturday's 2-0 win over Lazio.

Impact Pellegrini filled in for Alex Sandro after international duties and had a respectable performance, co-pacing his team in crosses and defending diligently. He could see minutes for as long as Mattia De Sciglio is sidelined. He is ineligible to play in Champions League though. His next opportunity to feature will come in Saturday's home game versus Atalanta. He has posted two chances created, seven crosses and four tackles in four matches.

Impact Pellegrini ended up staying in Turin in a backup role after two straight loan spells. However, he will not be available in Europe as the club had to leave out some players. Danilo and Mattia De Sciglio would play as left-back if the starter Alex Sandro were unavailable.

Impact Pellegrini had trouble staying healthy in the past campaign and finished with just 11 appearances (7 starts). He registered eight chances created, one assist, 29 crosses and nine tackles. Juventus only have youngster Gianluca Frabotta behind the starter and could decide to have a more experienced reserve in the role after struggling with depth in 2020/2021.
