Puig saw his team blow a 2-0 halftime lead and trail 3-2 at the end of regulation on Saturday, but a stoppage-time penalty kick from the Galaxy salvaged the result and ensured shared points in the Spaniard's debut. It may take a few more weeks for him to get fully integrated into his new club's system, but he will want to be taking Victor Vazquez's spot in attacking midfield as a starter rather than as a substitute soon.
