Takefusa Kubo - Starting against Cadiz Kubo (hamstring) is in the starting XI for Friday's match against Cadiz.

Impact Odriozola will remain on the sidelines for a further week, having yet to recover from a knee issue that has caused him to miss the club's past seven contests. He will now have two weeks to focus on his recovery with the international break right around the corner, with his next chance to return being March 31 against Alaves. When he does return, he will hope to see more time on the field, as he has only appeared seven times all season.

Arsen Zakharyan - Set for return Zakharyan (calf) looks to be set for a return Friday against Cadiz after making the squad list.

Impact Zakharyan could get back into the squad tomorrow, appearing to have recovered from a calf issue. This will be a nice rotational piece to gain back to the team for the club, as the midfielder has appeared in 24 contests this season. However, it will be interesting to see where he lines up if he makes the team sheet Friday, as he started in his last two appearances before the injury but has only gotten the start in 12 of his 24 appearances this campaign. The club may choose to hold him out altogether if he isn't fully fit, as he will have another two weeks of recovery only if he sits out, with the international break right around the corner.

Takefusa Kubo - Could return Friday Kubo (hamstring) is in the selection for Friday's contest against Cadiz after making the squad list.

Impact Kubo appears to be set for a possible return, as he appears to have recovered from the hamstring issue that kept him out of the club's last match. This could be a massive addition back into the squad for the team, as the attacker is a regular starter, having gotten the start in 26 of the 29 contests he has appeared in this season. With that being said, he will most likely get the start after carrying what looks to be only a minor problem, although the club may hold him out to preserve him until after the international break.

Aritz Elustondo - 'Makes squad list Elustondo (toe) is an option for Friday's match against Cadiz, as he is on the squad list for the match.

Impact Elustondo could make his return to play Friday, as he is on the squad list following a toe injury that caused him to miss the club's past nine matches. The club will be happy to add depth back to the team if he is chosen for the team sheet Friday, although he will most likely reside on the bench, as he plays in more of a rotational role, only starting in six of his 15 appearances this campaign.

Ander Barrenetxea - Won't face Cadiz Barrenetxea (back) will not be an option for Friday's match against Real Sociedad after being left out of the squad list.

Impact Barrenetxea will continue on the sidelines, still recovering from his back issues that left him out of the club's match against Granada. This will leave the attacker with an option to next return on March 31 against Alaves after the international break. He hopes to be healthy by then, as with another two weeks to focus only on his fitness, he shouldn't have any problems shaking off his injuries amid any setbacks.

Kieran Tierney - Assists as halftime substitute Tierney assisted once to go with three crosses (two accurate) and one chance created in Saturday's 3-2 victory versus Granada.

Impact Tierney had a season-high two accurate crosses while assisting for the second time this season. He should gradually see more and more minutes as Sociedad's first-choice left back as he continues gaining fitness following his return from a hamstring injury.

Brais Mendez - Massive in midfield Mendez assisted once to go with two shots (one on goal), eight crosses (two accurate) and six corners in Saturday's 3-2 win against Granada.

Impact Mendez created three chances, his highest total since Oct. 8, and earned his second goal contribution in his last three games with his fourth assist of the year. He also equalled his season best with eight crosses in what was a highly creative effort from the midfielder.

Andre Silva - Scores off the bench Silva scored one goal to go with one shot (one on goal) in Saturday's 3-2 win versus Granada.

Impact Silva scored his first goal as a substitute this season, coming off the bench for the second game in a row after having started six of the last seven matches for Real Sociedad. His streak of four games with one shot on target is his longest of the season and he will be hopeful of earning more minutes next time out against Cadiz after this efficient display in attack.

Impact Le Normand had a shot on target in consecutive games for the third time this season as scored his second goal. He also won two of his three tackles on the defensive end and made a whopping 10 clearances, which was a season-best for the defender.

Impact Sadiq scored with his lone shot in this contest as he returned to the starting XI after not featuring against Paris Saint-Germain in midweek. His goal will give him plenty of confidence heading into a game against Cadiz, but he is yet to take multiple shots in a match since early December.

Alejandro Remiro - Allows two goals in win Remiro registered four saves and allowed two goals in Saturday's 3-2 victory versus Granada.

Impact Remiro is currently in the midst of his longest spell conceding multiple goals in consecutive games, bringing that streak up to four matches in this win. He will look for his first clean sheet since Feb. 3 next time out against Cadiz.

Jon Pacheco - Eligible after suspension Pacheco has completed his one-game ban and is eligible to face Cadiz on Friday.

Impact Pacheco came off the bench in the UCL match against PSG last Tuesday, and given the team is almost at full strength defensively, don't be surprised if Pacheco moves back to a bench role on a permanent basis with Robin Le Normand and Igor Zubeldia being fit and available.

There was slight hope he would play against Granada after getting called up to the traveling squad, but it appears the club is taking his return cautiously. He will now hope to return on Friday to face Cadiz.

Aritz Elustondo - Remains shelved Elustondo (toe) is out for Saturday's match against Granada.

Impact Elustondo is still yet to make his return to play, continuing on the sidelines for a ninth straight match following a toe injury. The defender will now hope to get back on the field in the club's next contest against Cadiz on Friday.

Carlos Fernandez - Out indefinitely Fernandez (knee) is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery on his meniscus, Sociedad announced.

Impact Fernandez has yet to get back on the training ground since undergoing the meniscus surgery and remains some ways away from making any sort of return. The forward will hope to get back on the pitch before the end of the season, though that is far from a guarantee.

Impact Kubo was questionable for Saturday's trip to Granada due to some hamstring tightness, but he was added to the traveling squad. The forward should be straight into the starting XI if deemed fully fit, though he did go unused against Sevilla last time out. In the other four of his last five match Kubo has gone the full 90 though.

Ander Barrenetxea - Not called up Barrenetxea (back) wasn't called up for Saturday's trip to Granada.

Impact Barrenetxea was always a doubt for Saturday's clash despite returning during a Thursday loss to PSG and he officially wasn't called up. The winger will now have just a single chance to get back on the pitch before the March international break, a March 15 clash with Cadiz.

Ander Barrenetxea - Back on injured list Barrenetxea (back) is questionable for Saturday's trip to Granada, per manager Imanol Alguacil.

Impact Barrenetxea has not been getting the call to start of late, with just two starts in six appearances, recording 10 tackles and 12 crosses (one accurate) in that span. Even if the winger is ruled healthy, he will likely start on the bench, with Either Mikel Oyarzabel or Sheraldo Becker likely to start at left wing.

He created three chances for the sixth time in eight UCL matches, tied a UCL high with six corners taken and added six crosses (two accurate). He also took one off-target shot and drew two fouls in his full 90 minutes of action. Now that he and his side are out of the competition, the focus will return to La Liga where they are fighting for a European place next season.
