Albert Rusnak - Joins Sounders Rusnak has signed a two-year designated player contract with Seattle with the option to extend for an additional year, the club announced Thursday. Impact Rusnak tallied 42 goals and 29 assists in 146 appearances in all competitions during his five years with Real Salt Lake, but the 27-year-old now makes the move north to perennial Western Conference contenders Seattle. Where Rusnak was the star in Salt Lake (he scored at least 10 goals in three of his five seasons there and added seven assists in 2021), he will just be another talented attacker alongside Nicolas Lodeiro, Cristian Roldan and Raul Ruidiaz with the Sounders, but he still has the talent to potentially break into the starting XI at his new club.
