Adams with 25 points, Wyoming beats Montana State 82-68

LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) Josh Adams had 25 points and six assists to lead Wyoming to an 82-68 victory over Montana State on Saturday night.

Jason McManamen scored 16 points and Alan Herndon chipped in six points with 12 rebounds for Wyoming (4-2), which bounced back after losing to Montana State (3-3) 83-82 on Nov. 22.

Marcus Colbert scored 16 points to lead the Bobcats. Tyler Hall and Sarp Gobeloglu added 14 points apiece.

The Bobcats led 40-36 at halftime, and the Cowboys opened the second half on a 13-4 surge to take a 49-44 lead with 15:34 to play. Justin James made two 3-pointers during the span.

The Bobcats' Stephan Holm made a 3-pointer to pull Montana State to 56-53. Jeremy Lieberman scored five points, sparking a 16-4 run to give Wyoming a 72-57 lead with six minutes left and the Cowboys cruised from there.
