Arizona State's Obinna Oleka slams over Ryan Anderson
Arizona State made a furious second-half comeback attempt on Sunday afternoon at home against in-state rival Arizona.
Trailing 74-58 with 5:37 remaining, the Sun Devils went on a 14-4 run to make it a two-possession game. Arizona State junior forward Obinna Oleka capped that rally with a one-handed slam over Arizona senior Ryan Anderson with 2:50 remaining in regulation.
The Sun Devils kept it a six-point game in the final minute, however, that comeback bid was ended when head coach Bobby Hurley picked up his second technical foul -- and was ejected -- for arguing a foul call with 59.6 seconds left.
Oleka had 17 points off the bench for Arizona State. He was one of four Sun Devils to score in double figures.
