Arkansas Moves on to Mount St. Mary's
Arkansas comes back home after their first loss of the season to take on Mount St. Mary’s.
The Razorbacks lost their first road test of the season to Minnesota but look to come home and right the ship. Next up is the Mount St. Mary’s Mountaineers back at Bud Walton.
The 1-6 Mountaineers should be a good game for the Hogs to get back to the drawing board and figure things out. Thus far, the only team to fall to Mount St. Mary’s was George Mason and even that one was a nail biter as they only won by 2.
One of their losses came by way of UT Arlington. The Mavericks beat the Mountaineers by nine just a few days agon. This is the same Mavericks team that Arkansas beat by ten in the third game of the season. Hopefully, the Razorbacks will have no trouble handing them their seventh loss of the season.
Arkansas head coach, Mike Anderson, talked about the matchup with the Mountaineers and commented on their style of play. Anderson said that they are more of a perimeter-oriented team that shoots a lot of 3-pointers which could give Arkansas a bit of trouble. This season hasn’t been the year of putting real pressure on defenses or contesting the shooter for the Hogs. They’ll have to find a way to put together a better defensive effort for the season and this will be a great place to start.
Tipoff for the Hogs vs Mountaineers is on Monday, 28 at 7:00 p.m. You can catch the game on the SEC Network Plus on WatchESPN here. Here’s to a great way to take our mind off the season-ending loss to MIZZOU
