Julian Simmons scored 24 points, hitting a career-high eight of Army's school-record 16 3-pointers, to overcome a 13-point deficit and defeat Colgate 91-75 on Wednesday night.

Ella Ellis added 22 points and Josh Herbeck scored 15 on five 3-pointers. The Black Knights (9-10, 2-2 Patriot League) shot 55.2 percent from beyond the arc, with Simmons 8 of 10.

Army, coming off a win over Navy, won back-to-back Patriot League games for the first time since 2009. The 91 points marked its highest offensive output in a conference game decided in regulation since a 91-75 win over Lehigh in 1996.

The Raiders (5-13, 0-4) used a 13-2 run to lead 45-32 at the 3:28 mark. Army scored the next nine points to get within 45-41 at halftime and outscored Colgate 50-30 in the second half.

Mike Venezia scored 16 points to pace the Raiders, who have lost eight straight.
