Ashe, Robinson lead Mount St. Mary's over Loyola (Md) 85-68

EMMITSBURG, Md. (AP) BK Ashe made 4 of 5 3-point attempts and finished with 22 points and seven rebounds to lead Mount St. Mary's to an 85-68 win over Loyola (MD) Saturday in the 171st edition of the Catholic Clash.

Junior Robinson also went 4 of 5 from deep for Mount St. Mary's (2-6), which shot 12 of 22 as a team from beyond the arc. Robinson had 17 points and six assists, and Gregory Graves added 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Ashe scored 18 of his 22 points in the first half to give the Mountaineers a 14-point lead at the break. They used a 12-2 run in the first five minutes of the second half to put the game out of reach.

Eric Laster had 17 points for Loyola (1-7), one of four Greyhounds to score in double figures. Andre Walker and Chancellor Barnard had 13, and Jarred Jones added 12.
