Bethune-Cookman beats Morgan State 96-95 in OT (Feb 19, 2018)

BALTIMORE (AP) Brandon Tabb scored 34 points before fouling out in overtime, Isaiah Bailey had 28 points, nine rebounds and 10 assists and Bethune-Cookman beat Morgan State 96-95 on Monday night.

Bailey gave Bethune-Cookman an 82-80 lead on a 3-pointer from the wing in the closing seconds of regulation. Morgan State freshman Kyson Rawls was fouled on a driving layup attempt at 3.4 and he made two free throws to tie it at 82 and Bailey was off on a 3-point runner at the buzzer.

Tied at 92, Bethune-Cookman dribbled down the clock, Bailey was fouled on a layup attempt at 6.2 and he made two at the stripe. Rawls took a handoff and hit a potential winning 3-pointer but it was called off for a moving screen. Bailey sealed it with two free throws before David Syfax hit a 3 at the horn.

Shawntrez Davis, averaging 14.9 points, also fouled out with just nine points for Bethune-Cookman (16-12, 10-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference).

Tiwian Kendley scored 29 of his career-high 41 points after halftime for Morgan State (10-16, 6-7).
