Big Ten unders cash in Thursday night; 3-teamer would pay 6-1
The Big Ten came up big — well, actually short — on Thursday night.
There were three Big Ten games on the docket and all three finished under the Vegas total. Winning one bet pays 11 to 10, but hitting a three-teamer pays 6-1.

First, eighth-ranked Maryland defeated No. 3 Iowa 74-68 in College Park, Md. The over/under line was 148 — the Terrapins and Hawkeyes combined for 142 points, six below the Vegas number.
In Evanston, Ill., 12th-ranked Michigan State crushed Northwestern 76-45, 14 points below the Vegas over/under of 135.
To wrap up the three-team under parlay, despite going to overtime, Ohio State prevailed at Illinois 68-63, landing 14½ points below the over/under of 145½.
While the Terps (-5½) and Spartans (-6) covered, the Illini (-2) lost as a slight home favorite.
