Bliznyuk, Wiley lead Eastern Washington over Weber St. 82-72 (Feb 23, 2017)

CHENEY, Wash. (AP) Bogdan Bliznyuk scored 25 points, Jacob Wiley added 20 points and 13 rebounds and Eastern Washington beat Weber State 82-72 on Thursday night.

Eastern Washington (19-9, 11-4 Big Sky) has won three straight and is tied with Weber State (16-10, 11-4) for second place in the conference standings, a game back of North Dakota.

Bliznyuk was 10 of 20 from the field and Wiley was 9-of-17 shooting. Sir Washington had 16 points and Ty Gibson chipped in 13 for the Eagles, who shot 29 of 58 (50 percent) from the field and made 18 of 22 (82 percent) free throws.

Zach Braxton had 19 points and eight rebounds to lead Weber State.

The Wildcats made the first shot of the game for their only lead. Eastern Washington had a 14-point lead with six minutes left, and Weber State pulled to 72-67 with two minutes remaining but didn't get closer.
