In the past week Marquette basketball has steadily released the dates and opponents for its non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2015-16 season. 

It's a sign that we're inching closer to a heavily anticipated season for the Golden Eagles. The non-conference slate for any team can be extremely important. A strong schedule that includes impressive wins can vault a team off the bubble and into the NCAA tournament, while a weak one can spell an NIT invitation.
