BOSTON (AP) Stephen Brown scored 21 points and Bucknell avenged its last loss and opened a two-game lead atop the Patriot League with a 91-79 win over Boston University on Sunday.

Zach Thomas added 18 points and Nana Foulland 15 for the Bison (15-8, 9-1), who won their eighth straight since losing at home to the Terriers (11-10, 7-3). The winning streak is their longest since winning 12 straight in 2011-12.

After a 3-pointer by BU, the Bison reeled off another 10 straight with Brown converting a 3-point play followed by a trey in the middle. The lead was 35-22, sat at 12 at halftime and reached 23 in the second half before the Terriers, who won the first meeting 84-79, scored the last nine points of the game.
