Butler leads Drexel past Division III Rosemont College 84-51
PHILADELPHIA (AP) — James Butler had 20 points and 10 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season and Drexel routed Division III opponent Rosemont College 84-51 on Monday.
Butler shot 9 for 12 from the field, and the Dragons opened the second half on a 12-0 run.
Matey Juric had 16 points for Drexel (4-3), which earned its fourth straight home victory. Tadas Kararinas added nine rebounds. Zach Walton scored only six points despite heading into the matchup as the Dragons' second leading scorer at 14 points per game. He was 0 of 4 from 3-point range.
The 4-0 home start is the best for the Dragons since winning their first 15 at the Daskalakis Athletic Center in the 2011-12 season.
Osaze Thorton had 13 points and seven rebounds for the Ravens.
