Butler's Chris Holtmann and Kellen Dunham preview the season

Butler surprised many last season by finishing tied for second in the Big East. The Bulldogs are expected to finish toward the top of the league again this year, returning seniors Kellen Dunham and Roosevelt Jones.

The major loss is the leadership and defensive presence of point guard Alex Barlow, but Tyler Lewis, a transfer from North Carolina State, will be an upgrade offensively.

Butler head coach Chris Holtmann and Dunham, the team's top scorer the past two seasons, preview the upcoming season.

Butler opens the season on Saturday against The Citadel.
