Canete, Traylor pour in 3-pointers in Stephen F. Austin win (Dec 18, 2016)

NACOGDOCHES, Texas (AP) Ivan Canete and Isaiah Traylor combined for nine 3-pointers and Stephen F. Austin posted tied its highest point total this season, beating LSU Shreveport 93-73 on Sunday.

Canete made all six of his shots, including five 3-pointers and both of his free throws in scoring 19 points for the Lumberjacks (4-5), who snapped a two-game losing streak. All but two of his points came in the first half when the Lumberjacks took a 46-33 lead.

Traylor made 4 of 6 from the arc and scored 16 points. Kevon Harris also scored 16 points, TJ Holyfield added 15 and seven rebounds and Leon Gilmore III eight rebounds and six assists to go with eight points.

Stephen F. Austin shot 55 percent and was 11 of 23 on 3-pointers for 48 percent.

C.J. McGill led the NAIA Pilots, playing the game as an exhibition, with 23 points. Benjamin Batts added 20 points.
