BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) Billy Baron scored 22 points and Zach Lewis added 21 more to propel Canisius to a 90-78 comeback win over Fairfield on Saturday.

Trailing by as many as 12 points in the first half, Canisius (19-10, 13-5 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) closed the gap with a 14-2 run that stretched into the second half and tied the game at 47 on a dunk by Chris Manhertz with 16:49 to play. The lead traded back and forth over the next 3 minutes before the Golden Griffins took it away for good on a Jordan Heath layup that made it 56-55 and then steadily pulled away.

Chris Perez contributed 13 points, while Heath and Phil Valenti had 11 each for the Griffs, who shot 52 percent from the field to snap Fairfield's four-game win streak on the Canisius home court.

Marcus Gilbert led Fairfield (6-23, 3-15) with 26 points.
