Chattanooga dominates NAIA Tenn. Wesleyan 95-60 (Nov 25, 2017)

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) David Jean-Baptiste had 18 points and Joshua Phillips had a career-high 14 as Chattanooga started strong, dominating NAIA Tennessee Wesleyan 95-60 on Saturday night.

James Lewis Jr. added 13 points with eight rebounds and Duane Moss and Nat Dixon had 11 apiece as six Mocs hit double figures and all 10 players scored.

Chattanooga (3-3), which has won three of its last four, shot 53 percent (35-66) from the floor, making 11 of 28 from distance while limiting the Bulldogs to 21-of-63 (33 percent) shooting. Tennessee Wesleyan made just 3 of 20 attempts from beyond the arc. The Mocs also won the rebound battle 48-29.

Chattanooga jumped out to an early lead and gradually pulled away for a 43-21 halftime advantage. They won the second half, 52-39.

Johnson Decembre was 5 of 8 from the floor for 14 points for Tennessee Wesleyan.
