Colorado State snaps skid, beats Arkansas-Fort Smith 97-72

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) Gian Clavell and Antwan Scott each scored 23 points as Colorado State ran away from Division II Arkansas-Fort Smith in the second half for a 97-72 victory Wednesday night, snapping a three-game losing streak.

Joe De Ciman's tip-in at the buzzer gave the Rams a six-point lead at intermission, 48-42, and Clavell got to the basket for three layups as Colorado State opened the second half with an 11-0 run.

The victory pulled Colorado State within a game of .500 as a program (1,204-1,205) in its 113th season.

Emmanuel Omogbo added 18 points for the Rams (6-3), who were 34 of 62 from the field (54.8 percent) and converted 14 of 31 from beyond the 3-point line.

Kenny Martin and Dominique Raney scored 13 and 11 points, respectively, to lead the Lions and Teris Bourgeois, Alex Cooper and Ognjen Vasiljevic each added 10 points.
