Conference Tourney Central: Dates, sites & automatic bid winners
Some sports fans will argue this is the best time of the year.
For some, dreams become reality.
For others, goals are dashed.
For the fans, it's a smorgasbord of college hoops unrivaled by any other sport.
Thirty-two automatic bids to the NCAA tournament are up for grabs.
While the Ivy League doesn't hold a postseason tournament as it awards the regular-season champ an automatic bid, the 31 other Division I conferences send their teams to battle in single-elimination extravaganzas in arenas from Hartford, Conn., to Las Vegas.
Five conferences — the AAC, A-10, Big Ten, SEC and Sun Belt — held title games on Sunday, leading into the official Selection Sunday announcement of all 68 teams invited to the Big Dance.
Below is the complete list of conference tournaments — and the Ivy League champ-* (Harvard beat Yale 53-51 in a tiebreaker game on Saturday, March 14 at Penn). Try not to have too much fun.
