Craig Randall Jr. becomes Memphis' eighth 2015 commitment

With Austin Nichols' announcement that he's transferring, the Memphis Tigers suddenly had an opening in their 2015 class.

Sunday afternoon, it was announced that 6-foot-4 guard Craig Randall Jr. has committed to Memphis and will join the program this upcoming season. Randall's father made the announcement on Twitter. 

Craig Jr. also received interest from programs such as St. John’s and UTEP, and he will be Memphis’ seventh freshman (eighth commit counting Ricky Tarrant) when the 2015-16 season begins.
