Delaware St. cruises 92-69 past Div. III Keystone College (Dec 10, 2016)

DOVER, Del. (AP) Kavon Waller scored a career-best 26 points as Delaware State snapped a three-game losing streak, cruising to a 92-69 win over Division III Keystone College on Saturday.

Waller was 9 of 11 from the field including eight 3-pointers for the Hornets (3-8). DeVaughn Mallory had a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds, Devin Morgan added 16 points and 10 assists and Artem Tavakalyan chipped in 10 points.

Delaware State jumped to a 21-8 start but Keystone cut it to two points, 32-30, on a 3-pointer by Khyle Diaz with 2:27 to go before the break. The Hornets led 37-30 at intermission.

Morgan hit a jumper early in the second half to make it 48-33 with 16:31 to play and the Hornets cruised to the win from there.

Mark Gilliam led the Giants with 16 points. Diaz finished with 15 points on five 3-pointers.
