Denzel Valentine, MSU greats honor Hall of Famer Tom Izzo

Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo will enter the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a part of the 2016 class, joining NBA greats Shaquille O'Neal, Allen Iverson and Yao Ming. Over the course of 21 seasons with the Spartans, Izzo has led his team to seven Final Fours and won the national championship in 2000. Izzo has an overall record of 524-205, giving him the 13th highest winning percentage among active coaches according to Sports-Reference

As news of Izzo's induction broke, a number of his former players and fellow Michigan State legend Magic Johnson posted tributes to Izzo.
