Duke's Grayson Allen picks up yet another tripping foul in win over Pitt

Duke guard Grayson Allen almost made it through the week without any controversy. Almost. And this latest episode coincided with coach Mike Krzyzewski's return to the Blue Devils' sideline after a month-long absence because of back surgery.

Allen was whistled for tripping — again — in Duke’s 72-64 win over Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Obviously, this latest infraction is far less severe than Allen's previous three such incidents — the last of which earned him a one-game suspension in late December. In this case, his foot was planted when the Panthers’ Jamel Artis drove past him. But it still resulted in a foul.

Allen finished with a team-high 21 points and six assists Saturday. It was the third consecutive victory for No. 21 Duke, which improved to 18-5 overall and 6-4 in the ACC.
