Emegano hits late jumper, Oral Roberts beats Tulsa 70-68

TULSA, Okla. (AP) Obi Emegano hit a baseline jumper with 1.9 seconds left to give Oral Roberts a 70-68 victory over cross-town rival Tulsa on Saturday.

Emegano, who finished with 26 points, drove the right side, pulled up and drilled the game winner.

Tulsa's Shaquille Harrison made his first free throw to tie the game at 68 but missed the second at the :09 mark. Brandon Conley rebounded and passed to Emegano who took over from there.

Oral Roberts (7-2) has beaten the Golden Hurricane three straight years and has won six of its last seven games this season. Tulsa (5-3), which knocked off Oklahoma State 66-56 on the road Wednesday, has lost three of its last four.

ORU's James Bradley stepped up in the second half, making all 13 of his points in that period.

Harrison had 18 points and James Woodard and Pat Birt added 12 apiece for Tulsa.
