Emotional Kentucky players fight tears following stunning loss to North Carolina
North Carolina and Kentucky gave us the game of the NCAA tournament in Sunday's South Regional final. A Luke Maye shot with 0.3 seconds to go gave North Carolina a 75-73 win, this just seconds after Malik Monk tied the game with a three-pointer.
But while all the focus will be on the Tar Heels going forward, what's easy to forget is that there is another locker room inside FedEx Forum, filled with distraught Kentucky players.
And if there was any doubt, watch below as freshmen Bam Adebayo and De'Aaron Fox try to console each other through tears following the loss.

It's easy to assume that with so many of Kentucky's stars — including, likely, Fox and Adebayo — heading to the NBA after just a season or two on campus that the players might not care, but clearly that's the furthest thing from the truth.
