Fairleigh Dickinson cruises past Sacred Heart 77-67 (Feb 08, 2018)

TEANECK, N.J. (AP) Freshman Noah Morgan tossed in 21 points to match his career high and Kaleb Bishop tallied his second double-double of the season to send Fairleigh Dickinson to a 77-67 victory over Sacred Heart on Thursday night.

Morgan buried 8 of 10 shots from the floor, including a career-best five 3-pointers in seven tries, for the Knights (9-15, 6-7 Northeast Conference). Bishop, a sophomore, finished with 12 points and a career-high 11 rebounds. Darnell Edge had 17 points, Jahlil Jenkins scored 15 with five assists and Mike Holoway Jr. chipped in with 12 points and three blocked shots. Fairleigh Dickinson shot 52 percent from the floor and 41 percent from beyond the arc. The Knights, whose bench was outscored 5-0, won back-to-back games for the first time since winning three straight in mid-November.

Mario Matasovic tossed in a career-high 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the Pioneers (8-18, 3-10), who shot 41 percent from the floor and 29 percent from distance. Kinnon LaRose scored 15 and Joseph Lopez and Sean Hoehn added 11 points apiece.

The Pioneers led early, but Morgan knocked down a 3 to give the Knights an 8-5 lead with 16:19 to go in the first half, and they never trailed again.
