STOCKTON, Calif. (AP) Frankie Ferrari turned in a double-double and San Francisco pulled into a tie with Pacific for the No. 4 seed into the West Coast Conference tournament by upsetting the Tigers, 84-74 on Thursday night.

With their fifth win in their last six games, the Dons now are tied with Pacific, one game behind third-place BYU, but San Francisco swept the season series and would claim the No. 4 seed into the conference tournament.

Ferrari converted two free throws with 1:53 left to give USF (17-13, 9-8) a 78-68 lead, but Roberto Gallinat hit three of four free throws and Jahlil Tripp turned in a three-point play to get the Tigers within four, 78-74 with more than a minute to play. Ferrari hit two more free throws with 31-seconds left and Jordan Ratinho converted two of four from the line to close it out.

Ferrari, the WCC Player of the Week for his play last week against Saint Mary's and Loyola Marymount, had 15 points and dished 13 assists, with five rebounds and a steal thrown in. Chase Foster added 13 points and Jimbo Lull 12. Ratinho and Remu Raitanen each added 11 points.
