Florida A&M holds on to beat SE Louisiana 67-64

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) Craig Bowman came off the bench to score 21 points and Florida A&M held on to beat Southeastern Louisiana 67-64 on Tuesday night.

K'Ja Johnson made 3 of 4 from long range for 13 points and Malcolm Bernard added 10 and had three steals for Florida A&M (4-7), which now has doubled its win total from last year.

The Rattlers led 42-41 at the half and by 13, 58-45 at the 8:11 mark. Joshua Filmore nailed two treys and Mike Hawkins added another and Southeastern Louisiana closed to 59-54 with 6:04 left. The Rattlers were up 64-58 with 2:12 left but Mo Greenwood, who finished with 19, scored three to pull to 65-63 with 40 seconds left. The Rattlers made two straight free throws to seal the win.

Greenwood also grabbed 11 rebounds. Zay Jackson added 12 points and Filmore chipped in 11 for Southeastern Louisiana (2-9).
