PITTSBURGH (AP) Khwan Fore made a game-saving steal and continued down court for an exclamation layup at the buzzer and third-seeded Richmond escaped with a 70-67 win over George Washington in the Atlantic 10 Tournament quarterfinals on Friday night.

The Spiders (20-11) were up six before Jordan Roland hit a 3-pointer from the right corner and then Jair Bolden drained a 15-foot jumper from the left baseline - his only points of the game - as the shot clocked expired with 43.6 seconds to go. Richmond missed again, its fifth straight, with 14.4 to play.

ShawnDre' Jones had 19 points for Richmond, which meets second-seeded VCU in a semifinal on Saturday. Fore had 14 points and seven rebounds and Nich Sherod 13 points.
